Notice of Annual General Meeting

Dear Members: Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Mount Gambier Table Tennis Club will be held on Wednesday 1 April 2026.

Summer Season - Week 2 (2026)

Week 2 delivered another strong night of competition as teams continued to build early-season form. Five Setters remained impressive in A Grade, while Tricksters and Dude Sweet secured convincing wins. Number Ones and Ace of Spades highlighted B Grade with consistent performances, and Fireballs joined No Eye Deer in recording important C Grade victories. The round also welcomed debut player Alba Kraatz, reflecting the club’s growing and inclusive competition.

Summer Season - Week 1 (2026)

Round 1 delivered an excellent start to the season, with strong performances across all grades. In A Grade, the Five Setters, Team 1 and Team 3 opened their campaigns with impressive wins. Team 2 and Number Ones set the early pace in B Grade with composed displays, while No Eye Deer and Fireballs began their seasons positively in C Grade. With the first results now on the board, teams have laid down an early marker for the competition ahead.

Spring Season - Week 9

Results and ladders are now out for Week 9 and the teams for the finals are decided. Finals will commence 6:00pm at Wulanda Recreation Centre on 17 December. Look forward to seeing some great matches!

Club Championships 2025

The Mount Gambier Table Tennis Club’s Annual Club Championships are back — our biggest event of the year! Open to all club members, the championships offer something for everyone, from rising juniors to seasoned veterans.

2025 Junior/Veterans

Our club hosted the Annual Junior / Veterans match today at the Mount Gambier Show Hall. We played against clubs from Warrnambool, Hamilton and Horsham. Overall, the club had success taking out the aggregate thanks to a solid performance from our juniors, allowing us to just sneak in to take it out. A full set of results including match scores are in the details of this post. Thanks again to everyone that attended and represented our club (plus assisted with Junior fill ins for Horsham).

Summer Season Round 10

The Combos crushed Alpha Bet 10-4 with thrilling five-setters, while Raps edged Speckled Pimples 8-6 in a tense doubles finish. In B Grade, the Raiders and Dreamers drew 7-7 with fierce rallies, as the Badgers topped Bad Dogs 10-4 in a high-energy rout. C Grade saw BZ Top nip Average Joes 8-6 with clutch wins, while Aman and Rock tied 7-7 in a nail-biting season finale packed with dramatic exchanges and standout plays.

Summer Season - Round 9

Round 9 Action at the hall in A Grade saw Alpha Bet and The Combos win 9-5 over the Teletubbies and Speckled Pimples, led by Leigh Barry and Felix Owusu. In B Grade, The Dreamers and Raiders dominated the Bad Dogs (11-3) and Mismatches (10-4), with Jarrah Schaefer and Eion McIlduff shining. C Grade featured a 7-7 draw between The Bears and BZ Top, while Average Joes crushed Aman 11-3, driven by John Malicdem and Richard Van Der Linde.

Spring 2024 - Round 5

The latest matches featured stellar performances and intense battles across Division 1 and Division 2. The Underdogs and Erasers led Division 1 with comprehensive victories, while Ben’s Team displayed exceptional form. In Division 2, the Paddlers showcased dominance with an 11-match sweep, while the Skaters outplayed Rav 4 in a thrilling clash. Popcorn secured a hard-fought win over Flat Bats, emphasizing teamwork and consistency. The round highlighted competitive spirit and team depth.

Spring 2024 - Round 4

This week’s matches showcased thrilling battles in both divisions. In Division 1, the Underdogs edged McFartch Hockbar 6-25-418 to 6-20-367, while Ben’s Team and Not Ben’s Team drew 6-21-420 to 6-25-433. The Erasers secured a 7-26-401 to 5-17-361 win over the Web Cams. In Division 2, the Flat Bats beat the Slicers 8-27-438 to 4-20-421, and the Paddlers narrowly overcame Rav 4 at 5-15-325 to 7-25-382. D Smash Monster edged Popcorn 7-25-448 to 5-23-445 in a tight finish.
